TRAGIC: Former Flying Eagle Goal Keeper, Felagha Dies At 26

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has today, announced the death of former Flying Eagle goal keeper, John Felagha who died in Senegal after a brief ailment.

John felagha, who was confirmed dead on Sunday in Senegal, died as a result of an undisclosed illness.

The 26 year old was a Golden Eaglet shot stopper at 2009 U-17 FIFA world cup held in Nigeria.

NFF has through her official twitter page on Monday, sent a condolence message to his family.

The tweet reads;

“Former National U17 and U20 goal keeper John Felagha has died. Felagha died on Sunday in Senegal. He was aged 26. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family”.

Though, the cause of his death was not made known to the public but GGB reporter gathered that his death was as a result of an illness he had been battling with for some couple of months now.

The federation, his colleagues and members of the public has however express their condolences to the family of the late goal keeper.
