The Central Bank of Nigeria in a released statement on Friday 16th of October has said the rumour trailing social media over hacked website is false.
The statement by CBN as obtained by GbosGistBlog reads;
The rumour which earlier trail the social media reveals that a group of hackers identified as “Anonymous” has successfully hijacked into the website of Central Bank of Nigeria as they had successfully done to almost all Federal Government related organizational websites, including their social media account to promote the #EndSAR #EndSWAT #EndPoliceBrutality movement.
