As part of his campaign promises, if reelected, Governor Godwin Obaseki revealed his plan to train repentant internet fraudsters on advanced Information and Communication Technology and other vocational skills in his proposed technology park.

This was made known during the People Democratic Party’s rally on Friday, 4, September.
He said; “I will train young boys who do ‘yahoo’ to work in our technology park. We will train them and ensure they become more useful to society.”
He also disclosed how the reconstruction of the Benin Technical College now Government Science and Technical College will help to create employment opportunities for youths in the state.
Addressing the achievement made by the current administration, Obaseki said “We have executed over 2000 projects in Edo in the past four years. So, when they say that Obaseki has done nothing in the past four years, it is a lie.
