Troops of Operation ACCORD have killed 4 armed bandits at Jeka Da Rabi along Kaduna-Abuja expressway, while others escaped with gun shots wounds.
This was disclosed through the Defense media press release on 3 September 2020, as John Enenche, the Major General Coordinator of Defence Media Operations revealed that the successful operation took place on 2 September 2020, when troops acted base on credible intelligence revealing the movement of bandits from Kachia area. The smart soldiers wiftly mobilized to the scene and laid ambush against them.
They made contact with the bandits and engaged them with superior firepower thereby neutralizing 4 while others escaped with gun shots wounds, claiming that Troops recovered one AK 47 rifle and 5 rounds of 9mm with a magazine as the gallant troops have continued to dominate the general area with aggressive patrols in search of the fleeing bandits.
Meanwhile, The Military High Command congratulates the troops for their dexterity and encourages them to intensify the onslaught against the criminal elements in the country.
