Nigeria records 138 cases as at yesterday being Sunday, 30th of August, taking the total number of recorded Covid-19 cases to 53,865.
The corona virus pandemic has been a fatal blow to Nigeria ever since the first discovery of the virus. It had affected the nation economic sector, education sector, social life among many other sectors.
The government has announced some preliminary measures to help relieve and curtail the spread of the virus, which the citizens also adhere to.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) report at about 11:45pm on Sunday, 30th of August, 2020, the total number of cases confirmed in Nigeria is 53865 with 138 new cases, 41,513 discharged cases and 1013 deaths.
However, the federal government has announced the resumption of flight, partial reopening of religion houses, schools and also given some guidelines that must be strictly adhere to by the citizens and organizations.

Recall that Gov. Babajide Sanwolu of Lagos State has recently announced the reopen of tertiary institutions on September 14 while Primary and Secondary schools are said to reopen September 21, 2020
