Fani Kayode has at the early hours of Wednesday, 26th of August, through his Media handle come out to tender apology to Calabar Journalist whom he public disgraced for carrying out his job.
His full statement reads;
Recall that Fani Kayode, a 59 years old Lawyer and former minister of Culture, Tourism and Aviation has recently lambasted a journalist in Calabar for carrying out his journalistic responsibilities expected of him.
This public display of behaviour by the former minister on a reputable journalist who goes about doing his daily job has been be totally condemned by the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) and some other organizations including well meaning Nigerians who described this act as an abuse of power and a means to abuse the right to the press freedom.
