Access Bank, Victoria Island, Lagos branch was today gutted by fire living many properties worth millions of naira with some valuables and official documents destroyed.
According to reports, an access bank located at Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos was said to be in ablaze,

The incident which occurred today, Wednesday, was attributed to diesel truck discharging fuel at bank. However, fire fighters were on ground to combat the outbreak.

Responding to this, Access bank through their Twitter handle has confirmed this incident adding that no loss of life or injury was sustained by anyone,
“There has been a fire incident at our Adetokunbo Ademola branch this morning. Thankfully, no one was harmed”
“Our fire protocol has been activated and all personnel have been moved to safety. Cause of the fire was a diesel truck discharging fuel, we advise you to avoid that area,” the tweet reads.

As at the time of filing this report, GGB reporters that, the fire which has been put out destroyed properties worth millions of naira, some official documents and other values. It was also gather that no life was lost and normalcy has also been restored.
