The Nigeria Police Force are conducting physical and credential screening for various applicants who applied to join the force online albeit “constable” level, which will come up between August 24 and September 6.
Mr.Frank MBA,the public relations officer said this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja. All applicants are expected to appear in an all white T- shirt and shorts. Applicants are also to come with their National Identity Number and Original Copies of their credentials.
“Other mandatory requirements are O”level results, Certificate of Origin and Birth certificate arranged in two white flats along with two passport photographs.”
“Applicants who are unable to provide the aforementioned shall not be allowed to partake in the screening process” the spokesman said.
He(Mr Mba) also added that the exercise will hold at appointed places in all the 36 states including The Federal Territory, Abuja, saying “each states should follow due protocols as announced by the PRO of each state which will include the Covid 19 safety measures”.
“The process will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability” Mba said.
Finally, he adviced all applicants to be alert to wave off any shady or scammers trying to impersonate the police by taking advantage of the screening exercise to dupe innocent people.
