The Imam of Peace after wishing Indians in diaspora a wonderful celebration at the early hours of Saturday, as they mark their 74 years of Independence, received a backlash by Indians who claim his comment is irrigating and misinforming.
Mohammed Tawhidi, popularly known as Imam of Peace made a tweet at the early hours of Saturday, 15th of August saying “Happy Birthday Incredible India 🇮🇳 your peace is not only on the map but also in the heart”.
However, Indians after seeing this message coming from a reputable personality, attack his comment box, claiming that India wasn’t born today, they only gained independent from their colonial masters in August 15th, 1947, and that if at all he wants to wish them, it should be a “happy independence” not “happy birthday”.
@iamsnowking, an India twitter user claimed that Indian has been in existence even before Adam, stating that “15 Aug should not be marked as independence but repentance day of ignorance”

Recall that the 38 years old Mohammed Tawhidi, popularly known as Imam of Peace, who is a Muslim and social media influencer currently based in Adelaide area of Australia and also doubles as the President of Islamic Association of South Australia.
