Tragedy struck as goods and properties worth millions of Naira got burnt at the early hours of Thursday in Lagos warehouse reportedly owns by Guinness Nigeria limited.
The warehouse located along Wempco Road, in Ogba, Ikeja area of Lagos State was consumed by fire at about 3:00am on Thursday, 13th of August.
GGB reporters gathered that the warehouse which was engulfed with fire, had been stocked with plastic crates and bottles full of liquid contents belonging to Guinness Nig Ltd.
It would be of note that, as at the time of filing this report, the major cause of the fire outbreak is still being investigated.

However, the Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said emergency responders, which includes the LASEMA response team and some officials of the states fire service, were present to curtail the situation,
He further added that “the immediate cause of the fire could not be ascertained”
Meanwhile, there was no loss of life or injury sustained during the incident.
