The Northern community women at the noon hours of Thursday, 23rd of July stormed the palace of their traditional ruler, protesting against the incessant killings and massacre going on in Southern Kaduna & other Northern part of the country by bokoharam & herdsmen without any drastic response from Nigerian leaders.
The women are heard speaking in their dialect with tears saying as interpreted thus: “enough is enough” among many other sorrowful words.
Many women among them go totally nude, others are without bra while they youths are dressed in black attire which connotes “sorrow” while expressing their grievances with green leaves on their hands.
Recall that at the early hours of Thursday, 23rd of July, which coincidentally falls on the same day this protest is going on, the Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari left the shores of Nigeria for the very first time since the coronavirus outbreak began to Mali for a peace meeting.
