The Education Minister, Adamu Adamu while addressing the public during the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, 8th of July said no Unity Schools across all states within the nation will participate in the upcoming WAEC examination.
The minister said until the needful is done for the safety of the candidates/students, none will participate in the already scheduled examination under his ministry.
Recall that the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has on Monday, 6th of July announced August 4th to September 5th as the dates for the commencement of the examination.
He further advised schools within the nation to adhere strictly to the measures put in place for reopening of schools
