The Child Right International (CRI), a non-governmental organisation has recently petitioned the Ghana Police for thorough investigation into the viral picture of a Ghanian popular actress who went completely naked before her little son to celebrate his birthday.
The statement addressed to Director General of Ghana Police reads “Our attention has been drawn to a nude picture involving a certain Miss Rosemond Brown Popularly known as ” Akuapem Poloo” and a child circulating on social media.”
“As a child rights organization that believes in upholding the rights of children, we deem this act as a violation of the Welfare Principle of the Children’s ACT and abuse of the child’s rights to privacy and dignity. We wish to notify your esteem office to investigate the taking of the said image and its circulation”
Recall that the popular Ghanian actress had in a picture that went viral Monday 29th of June undressed herself, going totally naked before her little son to celebrate his birthday.
Later on, the June 1st born Model released a video of herself on Wednesday, 1st of July explaining the reason behind the shot. According to her, the concept was done to pass across a message. She also stated that it was done to show her son where he came from and to prove that as a mother, there is nothing she’s going to hide from him
She further went on to apologize to the general public for the discomfort the picture might have caused.
A brief history of Rosemond Brown as gathered by GGB reporters revealed that the Ghanian actress had her first “sugar daddy” at the age of sixteen(16) and later broke up with him at the age of eighteen (18) for reason being that she was not ready to be a second wife.
Akuapem became a mother for the very first time at the age of twenty-four(24) and since then has been celebrating the son on his birthday in grand style.
