After the sudden death of the always-healthy Emir of Rano, Tafida Abubakar who was later buried the same as Islamic culture demands, findings were made to ascertain the possible cause of his death.
An insider who pleads anonymity discloses that Emir Tafida had always been healthy and was not the ill-kind of person but just few days before his death, he started developing some unhealthy strange symptoms(failed to disclose kind of symptoms) but became constantly worst on Thursday night and was rushed to Mallam Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.
When the symptoms still persisted, Emir was again referred to Nasarawa Specialist Hospital at the early hours of Saturday for further treatment where he later died after the ailment got out of hand.
Recall that strange ailments have hit Kano ranging from the covid-19 pandemic ravaging the whole world to maleria, typhoid and some unidentified diseases killing Professors, Academicians, politicians, traditional rulers, religious leaders, both indigenes and non indigenes, the rich and the poor, old and young , men and women, among many others from different works of life.
These strange diseases have taking the total number of death in Nigeria to 87 and has promoted Kano State to second position of highest recorded cases in Nigeria from report published by NCDC on Friday with Lagos the epic centre scoring 1006, Kano receiving 311 and Abuja catching 214.
While addressing the mystery behind Emir Tafida Abubakar’s, Emir of Kano in a statement he personally signed today in accordance to P.M News report says
“This report is really important, the report has further confirmed to us that COVID-19 is real and that as of today about 73 people have tested positive for the pandemic” going further to say “My people, with regards to this situation, it has become necessary for us to remind you of the need to follow all the necessary medical advice” he later went on advicing Kano residents to stay away from crowded places, wash their hands regularly and avoid stigmatizing others.“I equally call on you to look after your children and make sure they do not continue to play football on the streets, once you notice any symptoms please do not hesitate to report such to medical experts,” he advised.
The 74 year old late Emir of Rano who was survived by 17 children and 2 wives appointed by Gov. Ganduje in 2019 was buried in his palace on Saturday same day of his death at Emirate of Rano in Kano and was graced by over one thousand(1000) mourners shown in a viral video amidst the Covid-19 social-distancing policy given by WHO supported by NCDC approved by Pres. Buhari.
The presidential media aide on Saturday further tweeted that “less than 20 people” were in attendance as against what the video reveals.
